SchweizMobil offer 8,500km of national and regional cycling routes, 6,300km of walking routes, 3,300km of mountain bike routes and 1,100km of inline-skating routes across the whole of Switzerland.

SchweizMobil use the same signposting for all of their routes throughout Switzerland.


The yellow signs for walking routes and red signs for cycle, mountain bike and skating routes have been expanded for SchweizMobil with a standardised system of route panels with route names and route numbers.

One-digit numbers represent national routes, two-digits are used for regional ones and three-digit numbers or no numbers are used for local routes. The route panels are green for walking, light blue for cycling, dark yellow for mountain biking and violet for inline skating. SchweizMobil use the same colours to illustrate the various routes on their maps, on information plaques and on the Internet etc.
